Why The Balm’s Cindy-Lou Manizer is the Best Thing I Bought all Month

I’m a huge fan of multi-functional beauty products; they give you more options and make packing for a vacation super easy. That’s why this Cindy-Lou Manizer by The Balm is the best thing I bought last month!

I first discovered this highlighter/eyeshadow/blush in my Birchbox a while back when I was started my Rose Gold obsession. I figured I’d try the dusty- pink powder as a highlighter, replacing my typical golden colors and LOVED it! It complements the colors in my Naked 3, which I wear almost everyday.

I like that the highlight is subtle. Even as a beauty junkie I’m still a makeup minimalist and prefer to look like I’m wearing very little. When I wear Cindy-Lou Manizer, it’s not blatant that I have on any shimmer but I still get the light-reflecting effects.

I also use it as an eyeshadow from time to time. Since it’s a dusty rose, Cindy-Lou Manizer shows up better on my lids than my cheeks and for a dramatic effect I like to add Naked 3’s “Blackheart” on the outercrease and a touch of “Buzz” in the inner crease.

The only way I don’t use Cindy-Lou Manizer is as a blush.  It’s even softer than the one in my Naked on the Run Palette so the color shows up a bit chalky. As a blush, I think it’s best suited for pale girls.

As with many Birchbox finds Cindy-Lou Manizer ain’t cheap, so when I saw that Duane Reade was offering 20% off any items in their Look Boutique I snatched it up, along with another shadow/blush by The Balm!
