Finally! Rapper/singer Azealia Banks has ceased controversial Twitter wars and is actually focusing on her music!

The Harlem-bred singer debuted her own upbeat cover of The Strokes‘ garage rock song “Barely Legal” yesterday. With the help of Producer Lindbergh Palace, Banks turns the rock group’s uptempo tune into a sexy club banger, keeping just a little bit of that rocker feel.

“Yung Rapunxel”, the first single from her long-delayed debut album Broke with Expensive Taste is currently slated to hit iTunes on March 26 via Interscope. Banks credits Prodigy’s “Breathe” as the inspiration for this “dark, twisted sister song to ‘212’”. A release date for the album itself has not been confirmed.
