In case you’re wondering why Rihanna won Best Short Form Music Video, her record company released her latest video off the singers seventh album just hours ago.

Rihanna performed her single “Stay”, a slow ballad from her latest album Unapologetic at the 55th Annual Grammys on Sunday night. Though the singer is best known for her upbeat dance ballads, this particular performance showed a marked improvement in her vocal abilities, perhaps due to the nature of the lyrics relating to her own personal life.

Her video, like the song, is simple yet deep and features Louisiana crooner Mikky Ekko, who also co-wrote the song. One question though Rih Rih, how come every time you get deep in a song you end up in a bathtub in the video?

  • I don’t think I’m deep enough to like this. The whole time I was waiting for something to happen. I would’ve liked seeing the other singer maybe or a flashback to whatever was making her so sad in that tub. But then again, what do I really know?
